Natural Spring Pools

The subtropical pools pump out 80 million gallons of water daily and continuously fill the sandy bottom basin. The expansive swimming area is 300 feet wide and 25 to 28 feet deep. This swimming pool serves as the primary source for a 6.5-mile Alexander Creek, also known as Spring Creek.

Camping

A policy of first-come, first-served is applied for the distribution of campsites. Several visitors booked the campsites by contacting them. There are 67 campsites. You are provided with all necessary facilities at these campsites, such as showers, potable water, a dump station, a picnic table, fire pits, and BBQs. No electricity is provided at these campsites. These campsites are run on the generator. 

The visitors can enjoy a minimum period of 14 days up to a maximum of 30 days. Visitors are welcome with their pets at the campground. Please be careful if you bring pets with you because alligators and bears inhabit this area.

Camping Fees

  • A single campsite costs 34$ + taxes per night for a 14-day stay limit with a maximum occupancy of 5 people, 2 vehicles, and 2 tents.

Season

Although Alexander Springs is open all months of the year, before planning a visit, keep it considered that summer is the busiest season of the year. In summer it is greatly crowded with visitors. Spring is the perfect time to plan a visit to this hot spring.
